Throughout history the appeal of cosmetics has been largely influenced by fashions and advertising. When searching for makeup for aging skin or wrinkle cream, look for ingredients that are effective, gentle, and will lighten or fade age spots such as vitamin C or kojic acid. Vitamins A and E are also great antioxidant ingredients, which add moisture and helps reduce wrinkles and creasing, without leaving your skin with a greasy or oily feeling. Today this is a global issue and surprisingly little has changed in peoples attitudes since the 18th Century which saw many examples of the unease felt by the educational middle classes, who according to Rose (2001) ‘found something profoundly menacing in the efforts of working people to educate themselves and write for themselves’. How true this remains in many countries in the world today and indeed, one could argue, in the very fabric of our current state education system. Do we really cater for all and do all we can to widen participation and include the lower classes? Class culture is still a feature in British society as well as on a world-wide scale, creating inequality, eroding self confidence, holding people back and depressing the further development of society. 3 Idiots was a complete entertainer and at the same time it carried a message. Raj Kumar Hirani was always known for his social relevant yet entertaining movies and ‘3 idiots’ followed the tradition. It makes some solid statements about the age old education system in India. Inspired by the Chetan Bhagat book, ‘5 point someone’, it deals with the pressure students face as far as choosing career is concerned. It’s your parents or the demanding society that decide the best career for you and you end up studying one of those courses which are straight ticket to high paying jobs and you lead a bitter existence for the rest of your life. Is everyone prepared for that? Hirani was trying to shed some light in to the otherwise neglected issue and it met with thunderous applause from all quarters. Students across the country could instantly connect with the helplessness shared by the protagonists, all the while enjoying the ‘balatkar’ speech of Omi Vaidya. Lifelong learning is seen as the answer to the problem. Programmes such as Leonardo da Vinci, Socrates and Erasmus are designed to deliver inclusive educational policies and create opportunities for all areas of society to embark on the learning journey. Your body is what you eat though it’s a lot determined by genes and one can have a bad skin due to hormonal imbalance in a particular age but eating all wrong food as all oily and spicy food can damage your skin. Which cannot be regained by external care only.
